London protests, Nov.21-22 #Tahrir #noSCAF

DejaVu...feels like January all over again...
One can feel the same spirit amongst expats here in the UK.
Going near the embassy for whatever reason is just grim...except when it comes to protesting..It's a bitter taste you get everytime...knowing there exists a place near you that's considered "Egyptian Soil"...right? Wrong!! Remember why you left it in the first place...Alienated in your homeland, with everything screaming in your face that you're not welcome..well, if one must live as a stranger, then let's do it right..At least you'll always have the feeling that whatever happens is understandable because you're a stranger...and on top of all, we always idealise and idolise anything/where/one that's far away.

So...we took to the streets of London...protesting in front of the Egyptian Embassy, then marched to Edgware road (Chinatown of arabs in London)...We chanted, we condemned and we let out the steam...but what's the outcome? Ok, I won't be more depressing...I just had to let it out.

I feel useless, utterly useless...knowing that back home, fellows of mine stand their ground and pay the price so the rest of us useless sods can brag about Egyptian will and determination in everyonecs face..
Talk is cheap..and that's all we do here..and I'm fed up!

Anyhow, here are some pics from the protest and march.
Last but not least, try to forgive my words, for they come out of helplessness.

And somewhere, beneath the thick foggy clouds of tear/nerve gas that Tantawi's deployed as part of his campaign to exterminate the free who refused to kneel and accept, I know my brothers and sisters are victorious..one way or the other.

يمهل ولا يهمل #Tahrir #noSCAF
